Scores of residents of Suchit Trace in Penal staged a peaceful protest on Saturday.
The residents lined the roadway with white flags and stuck placards on their cars to highlight the flooding issues in the South Oropouche area.
The exercise was led by the South Oropouche Riverine Flood Action Group.
