Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley has confirmed that there is an “expression of interest” into the Pointe-a-Pierre Refinery.
Speaking at a Breakfast Meeting with the Prime Minister at the Hyatt Regency on Wednesday, he said since the non-operation of the Refinery in 2018, Government has continuously marketed it globally. He said although Government is yet to have anything concrete, he hopes to get the proposals soon.
He also chastised the Opposition and those for attempting to “dissuade” investors from Trinidad and Tobago.
