PM Rowley Leaves For High Level Meetings In The UK On Saturday

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley will leave the country on Saturday to participate in a series of high level meetings in the United Kingdom.

At the invitation of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Dr. Rowley will attend the World Leaders Summit at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Scotland.

In London, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with the leadership of BP, following which meetings with Shell will commence.

The Prime Minister is expected to cement the development of the cross border Manatee gas field of the Loran-Manatee reservoir.

The Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, Dr Amery Browne, and Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Stuart Young, will accompany the Prime Minister.

Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, will act as Prime Minster until Dr. Rowley’s return on Saturday November 6th, 2021.
