Political Leader of the People’s National Movement Tobago Council, Tracy Davidson-Celestine, says Tobagonians should avoid getting hoodwinked into voting for the Progressive Democratic Patriots.
This after an audit report revealed over $6 million in overspending with respect to procurement practices, under the tenure of the Public Service Association President Watson Duke.
Mr. Duke, who is the Minority Leader in the THA and the Political Leader of the PDP, is the incumbent for the Roxborough/Argyle seat.
Mrs. Davidson-Celestine said the PDP secured four additional seats in January’s Tobago House of Assembly elections because they ran a campaign based on lies and misinformation. But an analysis of the votes suggest the PNM’s votes increased in several districts, adding that they won the popular vote.
The PNM Tobago Council Leader said her party will focus on addressing the issues in Tobago.
