PNM Women’s League Responds To Opposition Leader

“If you possess proof, the Police Stations are open! Report it!”

A message from the People’s National Movement Women’s League to Opposition Leader Kamla Persad Bissessar.

This is in response to statements made in the Lower House on Friday by the Opposition Leader, alleging “high ranking PNM officials” being involved in a pedophile ring and the authorities’ “refusal” to investigate it. The release from the Women’s League, condemned these statements calling them “dangerous allegations”, “baseless”, “utterly ridiculous” and an attempt to gain “cheap political points”. They are encouraging the Leader of the United National Congress to bring ANY evidence she possesses to the police if she genuinely cares about child protection.

The PNM Women’s League vows to continue to fight for the well-being of ALL women and children of Trinidad and Tobago, and challenged the members of the UNC to put aside politics and focus on REAL societal issues.
