The People’s National Movement’s (PNM) Candidate for Bethel/New Grange, Downie Marcelle, has tested Positive for COVID-19.
In a release published today, Mr. Marcelle said a relative of his recently tested Positive for the virus. He added while he had no symptoms, he still tested Positive.
Mr. Marcelle said he believes because he is vaccinated, he isn’t exhibiting any symptoms, and feels just fine.
As for his campaign, he said he will now be meeting with residents virtually while his team continues the ground work.
The THA elections will be held on December 6th.
