Seven of the eight police officers charged with the 2020 murders of three men in Second Caledonia, Morvant have been granted bail.
The eighth accused, PC Sean Lord had previously been granted bail in the sum of seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
The matter was heard on Thursday….. Bail of various amounts for the accused police officers is collectively set at 7.4 million dollars.
Appearing before Justice Gail Gonzales were Sargent Joseph Solomon, Corporal Charles Budri, Constables Sherwin Baptiste, Mark Lewis, Vaughn St Cyr, Jameel Mohammed, and Colin Furlonge.
As part of their bail condition, all seven were asked to surrender their passports as well as to report to the Police Administration Building. If breached bail will be revoked.
The officers were charged with the murders of 38 year old Joel Jacob, 46 year old Noel Diamond and 27 year old and Israel Moses Clinton on June 27, 2020 at Juman Drive Morvant.
