Police Urge Public To Identify Recently Recovered Vehicles

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying over 20 stolen vehicles that were recently recovered.

Divisional Commander of the Southern Division, Senior Superintendent Richard Smith, said some of the vehicles were scrapped for parts while others were in the process of being dismantled.

Superintendent Smith said exercises were conducted in the Barrackpore and Princes Town areas, with the latest find occurring in New Grant.

Thus far, no one has been arrested for the find in New Grant, but six people were arrested for the discovery in the other districts.

Superintendent Smith revealed that Toyota Fielders, Aquas, and Axios, and the Nissan Tiidas were the vehicles recovered. There were also several Hyundai H-100 pickups.

Persons are urged to visit the Princes Town, San Fernando, and Ste, Madeleine Police Stations to view the recovered vehicles.
