The 17th edition of the Rainbow Cup triathlon took place in Tobago on Saturday.
As has been the case in the popular triathlon a large turnout faced the starters at this year’s event at Turtle Beach in Tobago.
The triathlon got underway with the swim, it was then transitioned to the bikes for the second part of their journey, after the cycling end of the triathlon for the athletes was the run..
In the end, after a one point five kilometre swim, a 40 kilometre bike ride and a 10 kilometre run , Jason Costelloe was the winner in two hours 23 minutes and 30 seconds
