As four-day cricket returns to the region, the T&T Red Force took full charge of their first match at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba.
Batting first, the Jamaica Scorpions were well on course for a big total at 79 for 1. However, Brian Charles stopped them in their tracks with his off spin taking 6 for 48 and Jamaica dismissed for 141 on the first day.
The Red Force continued batting well on Day Two and were anchored by Yanick Carrier who was dismissed late in the day for 72 and Isiah Rajah not out on 58, as the red, white and black held the reigns at the close of Day Two on 234 for 6 – an overall lead of 93 heading into Day Three.
