Remote Work Policy For Public Servants By 2025

A Remote Work Policy being developed for the Civil Service should be completed by December 2024.

The Ministry of Public Administration has engaged the services of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Advisory Services Limited as the Consultant for the development of the Remote Work Policy for the Civil Service.

PwC has been conducting meetings with key stakeholders such as Service Commissions Department, Permanent Secretaries, and Heads from across Ministries and Departments in Trinidad, and the Central Administrative Services Tobago.

Minister of Public Administration, Allyson West, believes remote work has several advantages.

She also believes remote work requires a different style of management but there are some potential negatives if a transition to remote work is not properly done.
