Residents of Prosperity Lane in Gonzales are urging officials of the Disaster Management Unit to assist, following a landslide which has also affected the electricity supply in the area.
Three separate boulders fell in the wee hours of Monday morning, then around noon, and again on Monday night, crushing and destroying an outhouse used by one of the residents.
No one was hurt, but residents are now fearful the landslide could get worse.
The situation has cut off a small part of the area where vehicles can no longer traverse.
Another resident pointed out that the adverse weather aggravated the already structural issues, and fears a house from above may be in danger, which poses a risk to others below.
