The Revenue Authority Bill, 2021, was passed in the House of Representatives on Friday.
21 members voted for, 15 members voted against and there were no abstentions.
The legislation seeks to provide for the establishment of the T&T Revenue Authority to replace the Board of Inland Revenue and the Customs and Excise Division.
