As Wednesday’s island-wide blackout continues to be a topic of discourse in T&T, information on the Regulated Industries Commission’s site gives information of note.
It says that if T&TEC does not restore electricity supply after 10 hours, residential customers are to be paid $60, and commercial customers $600. The RIC says this is one of the eight guaranteed electricity standards set for T&TEC to ensure it provides a superior of service to each of its customers.
