Residents of the D’Abadie/O’Meara and Lopinot/Bon Air constituencies have come together to fight COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy in their area.
On Saturday, Councillor for the Cleaver/D’Abadie constituency, Ms Judy Garner, said they set up their roving soup kitchen at the Angel Harps Pan Yard in D’Abadie, while officials of the Ministry of Health set up nearby to innoculate those interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Councillor told TTT News they know there is still a level of vaccine hesitancy among the population but she is hopeful they can still encourage the unvaccinated to protect themselves.
