Search and recovery efforts continue for Wells Services employee Pete Phillip.
A recent statement from Heritage Petroleum Company Limited indicated that operations are ongoing, with priority areas continuing to be identified for more intense scrutiny. Visual surveys using drones, drop cameras, and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) are being utilised. Other vessels, lift baskets, and additional resources are also assisting with the effort.
The Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries has maintained a constant presence at the Marine Base in support of the operation, and key stakeholders are receiving regular updates.
Mr. Phillip was onboard Rig 110 along with 75 other Wells Services employees when the rig partially collapsed in the early hours of December 22nd.
