Short Term Measures To Improve Water Supply In 21 Communities

Public Utilities Minister Marvin Gonzales says 21 communities have been identified to receive an improved water supply as part of a short term intervention.

He says this series of projects commenced three months ago, and targets communities which only experience a water supply two days a week or less.

The Minister adds that there has already been a marked improvement in several areas.

Mr. Gonzales assures that more communities will be added to the list for short term intervention.

The Minister is promising that areas such as Sangre Grande, North Manzanilla, Icacos, Moruga, Princes Town and Siparia among others will all be beneficiaries of the National Water Stabilisation Programme.
