Skill Pik – The New Skills Marketplace

Jobs these days since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, are difficult to acquire. However, a new company, Skill Pik, is ready to match any skilled person to an employer.

Co-founder Aaisha Martin says their service is handy for those who have ordinary, as well as extraordinary skills.
They go beyond the regular industries into the ‘gig’ economy – a free market system, where temporary positions are common and organizations hire independent workers for short-term commitments.

Co-founder of Skill Pik Nisa Nathu Hari says it may seem new but it is not.

Ms. Martin says no one should sell themselves short and that almost any skill is saleable, for example filling in Visa forms. Ms. Martin says people are willing to pay for this service and their company is connecting skills with those who need it – opening up opportunities for those who thought getting work was impossible.
