Principal Medical Officer of Health Dr. Maryam Abdool-Richards has confirmed an increase in the rolling day average for COVID-19 cases.
Speaking during Wednesday’s COVID-19 health update, she said an increase in cases could lead to an increase in hospitalisations and this can result in severe illness, and even death.
