Two men were shot dead at South Park Mall in Tarouba around midday. Dead is Joel Chambers of Almond Drive in Morvant as well as Malik Straker of Arima. According to reports, the men were parked in a Nissan AD Wagon at the mall when another vehicle pulled alongside and the occupants fired several shots. Multiple bullet holes was seen at the passenger side window and the windscreen of the targeted vehicle. The victims were seen slouched on the driver and passenger side of the vehicle when police arrived on the scene. No motive has yet been established for the double murder.
