SSFL Opening Delayed By One Day

The countdown is on for the opening of the nation’s most popular tournament, the Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL), but fans will have to curb their anticipation because 24 hours have been added to the wait time.

A release from the SSFL has indicated that due to the Trinidad and Tobago Senior Men’s National Team Game versus Curacao on September 7th, the League has been advised by the Sports Company that the Hasely Crawford Stadium is no longer available on September 8th, which was the original date for the opening.

The opening game featuring League champions St. Benedict’s College versus Intercol winners Fatima College has now been rescheduled to Saturday 9th September from 4pm at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.
