Five hundred and forty lives were lost to suicide in Trinidad and Tobago between 2018 and 2022.
This is according to information provided by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.
The statistics were shared during the launch of the Ministry of Social Development and Family Service’s Suicide Prevention Hotline on Wednesday.
