Sunil Narine Retires From International Cricket

Mystery spinner Sunil Narine has called it a day on his international career.

The 35 year old Narine made the revelation via his Instagram earlier today. He represented the West Indies in six Test Matches, taking 21 wickets, while in 65 One Day Internationals, he bagged 91 wickets and in the format he is most famous for, T20s, he took 52 wickets in 51 appearances.

He was also a member of the West Indies team that won the T20 World Cup in 2012.

The former World Number One T20 bowler expressed his gratitude to his family especially his father, his friends, teammates, and coaches who aided him in his international journey.

Narine who is currently part of the T&T Super 50 team, also noted this will be his final domestic season and winning the Super 50 title will be a great send of for him.

He will continue playing franchise T20 Leagues for the foreseeable future.
