Andre Marcano led this country’s winter Olympic delegation at Beijing Winter Olympics this morning.
Marcano, a former Sprinter, is the Brakeman for the two-man bobsled team which also includes pilot Axel Brown, and they will be the representatives for our 4th appearance in the Winter Olympics.
The official training heats in the two-person bobsled commence on February 10th at 2:55am TT Time at the Yanqing National Sliding Centre.
Trinidad and Tobago last competed at the Winter Olympic Games at Salt Lake City in 2002, with Gregory Sun, Andrew McNeilly, and Errol Aguilera finishing 37th in the two-man bobsleigh.
Trinidad and Tobago is one of 84 countries taking part in this year’s Games.
