Teniel Campbell’s star continues to rise, and this Sunday she’ll create more history as the first TTO cyclist to face the starter in Le Tour de France Femmes Avec Zwift.
The Tour De France women’s race is the latest step in a career that continues to blaze trails.
Campbell celebrated her ascension to Le Tour Femme in a social media post by encouraging others saying, quote: “YOU have what it takes to achieve once YOU BELIEVE because that sparks starts with YOU.”
The Team Jayco-AlUla rider said the God-given opportunity was built on sacrifice, mental fortitude and dedication.
Campbell finished outside the time cut at the 2021 Paris-Roubaix road race and improved to lead her team across the line in 42nd in 2022.
She’s back in the saddle after nine months of recovery following a crash at the 2022 Elite Caribbean Road Championships.
The eight-stage Le Tour Femmes begins in Clermont on Sunday.
