The 15 newly-elected Assemblymen of the Tobago House of Assembly will be sworn into office on Thursday.
President Paula-Mae Weekes will administer the oath of office during an Inauguration Ceremony at the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort.
The Assemblymen will then proceed to the Legislature to elect a Presiding Officer and a Deputy Presiding Officer, and select a Chief Secretary.
The Progressive Democratic Patriots will have 14 Assemblymen while the PNM will have one Assemblyman.
This, after the Elections and Boundaries announced there was no change to the results of Monday’s THA elections.
