The Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly wants Tobagonians to develop a Tobago resolution.
In his six-minute New Year’s message, Chief Secretary Farley Augustine stressed that now is the time for a collective approach.
He noted that during 2021, Tobago faced many unique changes including grueling campaign periods which saw expansion of democratic representation within the Tobago House of Assembly, the prolonged fight against an unrelenting pandemic with additional lockdowns, sustained social distancing, and the procurement of COVID-19 vaccines. But amidst it all, Chief Secretary Augustine said Tobagonians were resilient and offered support to other islands.
He reminded Tobagonians that there should be unity in moving forward.
