THA Launches 101 Selfie Spots Initiative

The Division of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Transportation has launched a 101 Selfie Spots Project.

The venture is being rolled out in collaboration with the Tobago Tourism Agency Limited (TTAL) and Coca-Cola Caribbean Bottlers Trinidad and Tobago Limited (CBTTL) and is aimed at providing visitors with memorable photo opportunities that showcase destination Tobago.

The first phase includes the unveiling of ten vibrant, Instagram-worthy snapshot frames, in the shape of a location pin, at popular tourist sites including Fort King George and Pigeon Point.

Visitors are encouraged to scan the barcode on each sign and post it with the tag @visittobago and the hashtag #tobagoselfiespot on social media when sharing their selfies.

In a release on Friday, the Secretary of Tourism Tashia Burris explained this project was conceptualised in 2022 to encourage visitors to experience the island, capture and share their experiences to enhance tourism, boost local businesses, and showcase the island’s culture.
