The Mother Of All Carnivals

Touted as “The Mother Of All Carnivals,” Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2023 will be marketed at the Miami Carnival 2022 celebrations carded for this weekend.

The National Carnival Commission (NCC) and the Consulate General of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago held a News Conference on Thursday in Miami.

NCC Chairman, Winston ‘Gypsy’ Peters, said Carnival 2023 has been highly anticipated and will not disappoint the thousands of persons expected to attend the various events leading up to the Parade of the Bands on Carnival Monday and Tuesday.

Speaking virtually, Secretary for Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Transportation at the Tobago House of Assembly, Tashia Burris, also plugged Tobago’s upcoming Carnival celebrations later this month, noting that the island now boasts the last Carnival on the calendar, and encouraged persons to be a part of history.

The contingent, led by the NCC, includes representation by the THA and various Carnival stakeholders.
