A taste of what Trinidad and Tobago’s fashion industry has to offer was on full display at the Cascadia Hotel and Conference Centre on Sunday when the Trinidad and Tobago Coalition of Services Industries (TTCSI) kickstarted their Services Week with a fashion show themed “Threads Of Creativity: A Celebration Of Fashion Entrepreneurship.”
President of TTCSI, Dianne Joseph, said the event was a demonstration of the innovative spirit and boundless creativity that thrives within our nation’s fashion industry.
“As we embark on this journey, we celebrate the entrepreneurial drive and the unwavering determination of our local designers, artisans, and visionaries who have tirelessly woven the fabric of our cultural identity through their craft.”
Ms. Joseph also noted that the fashion industry is much more than just the latest trends and glamorous runways.
“It is a tapestry of stories, each thread representing the passion, the struggle, and the triumph of those who dare to dream. This afternoon, we honour these stories, recognising the pivotal role that fashion entrepreneurs play in shaping our economy, empowering our communities, and elevating the global perspective or the perception of Trinidad and Tobago.”
The TTCSI’s Services Week aims to shine a spotlight on the dynamism and diversity of Trinidad and Tobago’s service sectors.
