The Tobago Primary Schools 2023 Track and Field Season runs off tomorrow, Wednesday 18th January, with the first of two Zonal 3K Road Race Qualifiers.
The race, which returns after a two-year hiatus owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, will see over 200 participants from the Leeward A and Windward Zones face the starter at the Petit Trou Beach, Lambeau from 10am. The race then ends at the Shaw Park Hard Courts.
The top 20 boys and girls will progress to the Tobago Finals on January 25th.
On Thursday, over 150 participants from the Northside and Leeward B Zones will round off the qualifiers on the same route. This event is being coordinated by the Sport in Education Unit of the Division of Education, Research and Technology.
