We all can attest to the immense, unspoiled beauty of our sister isle, Tobago…and now the rest of the world appreciates it too. Destination Tobago was voted the second most desirable island in the world.
The Tobago Tourism Agency Limited (TTAL) accepted the award at the 2022 Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards at the White Tower of the Tower of London on Tuesday.
The category, Most Desirable Island – Rest of World, was a reader-voted award, where 50,000 Wanderlust readers, boasted as some of the best travelled in the world, nominated and voted for their destinations of choice.
Palawan, an island in the Philippines, secured Gold and Viti Levu, an island in the Republic of Fiji was voted third.
The awards celebrate the best in travel and is one the most sought after and coveted in the industry.
