Tourism Trinidad Limited has developed a group of tour packages for members of the public during the July-August vacation.
During the annual Trade and Investment Convention held at the Centre of Excellence on Thursday, TTL Chief Executive Officer Carla Cupid said the organisation worked with tour operators and other stakeholders to create domestic tourism activities and investment opportunities.
Since August is steelpan month, there will be a host of steelpan-making tours. Ms. Cupid added they have also partnered with the Emancipation Support Committee to offer tours detailing this country’s Emancipation journey.
She also revealed a new initiative which is meant to assist hotels and properties with front office, room and other upgrades.
Ms. Cupid said the organisation has a suite of incentives that will benefit the industry and services within the tourism sector.
