Tobago is ready. This, from Director of the Tobago Emergency Management Agency, Allan Stewart.
On Monday, a Disaster Management Meeting chaired by THA Chief Secretary Farley Augustine was held as Trinidad and Tobago braces for the impacts of changes in weather patterns within the next 48 hours. Speaking at a Press Conference, Mr. Stewart said the agencies are prepared.
Shelters are also set up and Mr. Stewart noted further information would be provided on Tuesday.
Mr. Stewart indicated, however, there is a strong possibility that there will be some degree of damage. He added that if they exhaust all resources over the next few days, other systems will take effect.
