This country is one step closer to constructing the new Forensic Science Centre in Mt Hope.
The Exchange of Letters between the Minister of National Security, Fitzgerald Hinds, and the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Fang Qiu, was done on Monday.
Minister Hinds said the documents are designed to govern the implementation of the project in respect of the anticipated Centre. He said the letters outline the obligations of each party in the execution of the project.
The Minister announced in February of 2022 that Government acquired clearance for the land where the new building will be constructed. He said once completed, the new facility will ensure that the increasing demand for services provided by the Forensic Science Centre will be adequately met.
