T&T Draw Against Guyana In 2025 CONCACAF U-17 Qualifiers

The road to the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup kicked off on Friday with the 2025 CONCACAF U-17 Men’s Qualifiers.

Trinidad and Tobago faced off against CARICOM rivals Guyana in their opening match at the National Stadium in San José, Costa Rica, and Shawn Cooper’s team had to come from behind to grab a draw against the continental squad.

Guyana opened the scoring in the 32nd minute through Joshua Morris, who converted off a corner.
T&T’s response came in the 54th after a neat buildup saw Philip Nelson put away the equaliser.

The Group ‘B’ encounter was the only draw on opening night, which featured 28 goals in the six matches played.

T&T next face the British Virgin Islands on Sunday from 6pm Eastern Caribbean Time at the same venue.
