This country’s Senior National Men’s Team has accepted an invitation to the 2022 King’s Cup scheduled between September 22nd and 25th in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand.
Head Coach Angus Eve will use the opportunity the tournament provides in a FIFA window to fine tune ahead of the Nation’s League restart and the Concacaf Gold Cup.
So far, the hosts, Tajikistan and Malaysia have been confirmed.
T&T has twice visited Thailand playing friendlies in 2004 with Eve as captain and 2018, losing on both occasions.
The team is on a three-match winning streak and will use the coming weeks to regain fitness before a final squad is selected to travel.
