Croatia’s Lucas Maximilian Bachmann led the charge with four goals, including clinical penalty corner conversions that showcased the team’s tactical efficiency. He was supported by Gregor Fujs, who netted three goals, and Mario Mučić, who added two, as the hosts dominated throughout the match.
Trinidad and Tobago’s Teague Marcano struck twice in the opening quarter, offering a glimmer of hope for the visitors. However, Croatia’s relentless attacking and well-executed set plays soon overwhelmed the Caribbean side, despite a late goal from Nicholas Siu Butt.
This loss marked the end of the tournament for the TT stickmen, who are set to return home on Tuesday.
