Trinidad and Tobago fell to a 4-0 defeat in their second match of the Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Championship in the Dominican Republic last evening.
T&T went behind in the third minute of the match Adriana Munguia capitalising on a defensive mistake to give Nicaragua the lead. Daniela Manzanares doubled Nicaragua’s advantage in the 24th, and Jenifer Sarantes made it 3-0 in the first minute of time added on. Stella Villalta scored Nicaragua’s fourth in the 67th to seal the win.
On Saturday, T&T lost 5-1 to Panama in their opener and will play Group E leaders Mexico in their final match of the tournament.
