The Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs and the Consulate General of Trinidad and Tobago in Miami, Florida have not received requests for assistance from TT Nationals pertaining to the impending landfall of Hurricane Milton.
The Consulate General for Trinidad and Tobago in Miami says it has established contact with as
many Trinidad and Tobago Nationals as possible based in the Central Florida area.
The Consulate General said some nationals informed that they were safe in their current location, while others advised that they would relocate to the homes of friends and family. Trinidad and Tobago Nationals in Florida are advised to follow the instructions of the local authorities with respect to evacuation and to contact such authorities if they require any assistance as a result of the impact of the Hurricane.
