Trinidad and Tobago 1964 Olympic Bronze medallist Kent Bernard has passed away at the age of 82.
Bernard, who died on February 19th, was a member of the 4x400m relay team along with Edwin Skinner, Edwin Roberts, and Wendell Mottley who secured Bronze at the Tokyo Games.
Bernard also won Gold at the 1966 Commonwealth Games in the Men’s 4×440 yards relay.
In recognition of his contributions to sports, he was awarded a Hummingbird Gold Medal in 2018.
