The T&T Red Force registered a much-needed victory on Day 3 of their CWI Regional Four Day match against the Jamaica Scorpions at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba.
The visitors were bowled out for 125 in their first innings and 275 in their second innings. The combined totals provided a 99-run lead for the Jamaica Scorpions. Tion Webster bagged impressive figures of 5 wickets for 36 runs in the first innings, while Imran Khan registered 4 wickets for 47 runs in the second innings.
The Red Force batters were much better in their second time at the crease, scoring 72 without loss after 19 overs, when the rains poured in South Trinidad. Play did resume at 3:35pm with the home team eventually celebrating victory by 9 wickets. Vikash Mohan top scored in the second innings with 44 not out while Kamil Pooran had 39.
