T&T U19 Cricketers Lose To Jamaica

The T&T Under-19 Men’s cricketers slumped to their second defeat in as many matches today this time against the Jamaica Under-19s.

First up at the crease, the T&T batters were unable to rotate the strike to pick up crucial runs. From the top six batters, only Nick Ramlal managed 22. Lower down the order, Abdur-Rahaman Juman and Vasant Singh added some much needed runs, scoring 28 and 16 respectively as T&T finished on a paltry 158 all out in 47.2 overs.

Jamaica then had an impressive opening stand of 50 before losing their first wicket, Adrian Weir dismissed for 37. However, that did not deter Jordon Johnson as he faced 67 balls for his top score of 57 not out striking 2 fours and 3 sixes. His innings led Jamaica to cross the line in quick time, closing their innings on 159 for 4 in 33 overs.
