The T&T Senior Women cricketers got off to a second place start in their CG Insurance Women Super 50 Cup in St. Kitts.
Batting first against the Barbados women, they could only muster 161 all out in 43.5 overs. Opener Shunelle Sawh top scored with a patient 68. The only other score of note was Britney Cooper, who got 32. Allison Gordon and Keila Elliott took 4 wickets each.
The Barbados women made light work of their chase, getting their in 38.3 overs. Aaliyah Alleyene top scored with 48 not out to lead her team to 162 for 4. Steffie Soogrim did well with ball in hand, taking two wickets for 36 runs.
The Red Force ladies next take on Jamaica on Wednesday.
