T&T’s Senior Women’s Hockey team earned another important point today, this time against Brazil in a 1-1 draw.
T&T went down in the 32nd minute before Zene Henry equalized early in the fourth quarter. Henry robbed the defender of the ball and then faked the keeper to slot home the crucial goal.
The result places T&T on top of the round robin table tentatively on 5 points after 3 games.
T&T’s squad is currently competing in the Pan American Challenge where the competing teams are vying for two qualifying spots for the Pan American Cup.
