The Trinidad and Tobago Cycling Federation recently held its Time Trial Championships at the Frankie Boodram International Raceway in Wallerfield.
Among the Elite women, Alexi Costa Ramirez, riding for Heat Wave/Miami Blazers, was the winner in 35 minutes 13.71 seconds. Coming in second was Marsha Trepte of Raiders Cycle and Multisport, and third was Kanika Paul- Payne riding unattached.
In the Junior Women, Ashleigh Thomas competing for the Braves Cycle Club was the lone competitor and she completed her Time Trial in 18:09:02.
The Junior Men were also in action with Jadian Neaves riding for Raiders Cycle and Multisport coming out on top in 32:5:5. PSL’s Justin Boynes came in second and Chad Lorenzo Dixon of Rigtech third.
And in some other top performances on the day, Akil Campbell riding for PSL took the Elite Men in 41:04:43, and Tariq Woods riding for Evolution Cycling Academy won the Under 23 men in 44:33:60.
