TTFA Elections Set For April 13th 2024

For the first time in over four years, the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) will conduct elections to chose a new President and Executive Committee. The elections are scheduled to take place on the 13th of April after the proposed date was confirmed by the The FIFA Council.

The Executive Committee will consist of nine members, candidates for the positions must be proposed by five or more TTFA members in order to run for office with the nomination period for candidates is currently in effect.

Stating their desire to run for President so far are the Eastern Football Association President Kieron Edwards, Southern Football Association President Dennis Latiff, and the Head of the Veteran Footballers Foundation of Trinidad and Tobago, Selby Browne.

In light of this announcement, the Normalisation Committee, whose term was due to end on the 31st of March this year, has been extended until the 30th of April 2024 for the latest in order to facilitate the election process.
