The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) continues to appeal to citizens to conduct cashless transactions, especially when it involves a large sum of money.
Inspector Michelle Lewis says there continues to be instances where people are carrying large sums to conduct business and are being targeted. She is urging the public to engage in online transfers, direct deposits or even a Manager’s Cheque when a significant amount of money is involved.
Inspector Lewis believes people need to have a greater level of responsibility and be discreet about their transactions.
