For years, many women within the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) were tasked with menial and insignificant assignments, but fast forward to the present today, the TTPS boasts many women in critical positions.
In commemoration of International Women’s Day, Superintendent of the Special Victims Department of the TTPS, Claire Guy-Alleyne, spoke on the strides women have made within local law enforcement.
Superintendent Guy-Alleyne also encouraged women to keep aspiring.
