The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is promising increased patrols and higher visibility in the communities plagued by gang activity.
This follows a meeting with the Management Team at TT Post where they expressed concerns about the safety of their staff. A letter to TTPOST staff advising them about their attire while carrying out their duties in certain communities to safeguard against gang attacks prompted the meeting.
In its statement on Friday, The TTPS assured the business community, as well as members of the public of increased efforts and channelling of resources with an aim of dismantling said gangs.
